Q-POT CAFE, JAPAN

I think most of my entries is about the beautiful nature and of course like I said before I’m a big fan of beautiful nature but I’m also the big fan of chocolate and jewelry. So, why note we find a places that combine my favourite. With this combination, finally I make a decision to go to Q-pot Cafe, Tokyo.

You may think how jewelry can combine with chocolate and there is the answer. Q-pot is actually the popular brand of jewelry in Tokyo. It could get a bit sticky if your tried wearing it on your night out but it certainly is attractive, and tasty because this jewelry you can eat!

Q-pot Cafe arranges chocolates, cupcakes and macaroons into delightful rings, bracelets and neckalces! The design of this jewelry is 99.99% is same with the actual jewelry made by Q-pot. Furthermore, the interiour design of the cafe is reallt attract me as the fan of jewelry and chocolate. If you only just want to pass by the cafe, its a big percentage you gonna fail because the interior of the cafe can attract you to try the beautiful ant tasty neclaces.

The upside down pastel colored coffee mugs for light fixtures is a brilliant design! Tiles with the tea-pot motif, also shaped like the cookies that they build their jewelry with, decorated every look. It was so lovely that it’s no wonder people were lining up. The waiting staff were dressed so very cutely too. Even the bathrooms were gorgeously designed. No matter where you look this place has something delightful to look at. Part of the fun is to find the variety of ’very cute’ different decorations.
The menu consists of three “plates”.  The ring plate, the necklace plate, and the joy of being able to choose plate. You can choose the sweets for all three of the plates based on your appetite and it taste very good.

"THE CITY ABANDONED AT THE WORLDS END"

People might said that only beautiful and peaceful places are the perfect places to be visited but for me sometime I loved to visited some places that hide 1001 secret behind it. It just like I want to feel and believe what they believe at that time. So, the next destination is one of the hunted places in the world that have been called “The city abandoned at the worlds end”.

It takes three days to Oslo, three hours by plane to a Svalbard, Norway, five hours by an Arctic ship named as “Polar Girl” and you will find yourself in the northern most abandoned city. PYRAMIDEN.

The central square of Pyramiden, with the world's northernmost statue of Lenin

Today nobody lives here. Not a single citizen. This is totally abandoned city that make the last person that left this city left this city about fifteen years ago.  So Pyramiden looks almost untouched and it is inhabited by white bears only but still the tourist is allow coming but visitors are not allowed to enter any buildings without permission even if they are open. This city was built for a Soviet enclave, so they only built house and buildings with good quality according to Soviet standards.

Most of the things have been untouched.
Those flowers haven’t been watered for fifteen years.

Since 2007, Trust Arktikugol has been renovating the hotel and upgrading the infrastructure in order to accommodate tourist in the old settlement. In 2003, the Tulip hotel has been reopened to easier the visitors.
The history of Pyramiden was start when Soviet Union buys Pyramiden in 1927. Pyramiden was named because of the pyramid shaped mountain adjacent to the town. Pyramiden once had a population of over 1,000 people. It was abandoned start on 10 January 1998 until 2007. This city is practically a ghost town when the citizens leave this city in hurry and only get to bring important things. This is due to the low rate of decay in a frigid climate that will make this abandoned city would be visible 500 years from now.

Wooden structures are slowly decaying.

The popularity of this place among people in this country make one director start to make the movie about this place. That movie based on true story from people that actually stay there before Pyramiden become the abandon city.
